Winners & nominees
The Food Planet Prize receives around one thousand nominations every year from all corners of the world and all parts of the food system.
We get to interact with amazing initiatives throughout our vetting process, and even though there can only be one winner per year, many of those that end up not winning will surely change the world as well.
We consider every long- and shortlisted initiative a partner in mission, and we really want to help spread the word about what they do.
Below you will find feature articles about all the initiatives that were either shortlisted for the Prize or winners, and shorter articles about those who were longlisted. The articles about the shortlisted nominees are part of the material shared with our jury and are prepared following in-person visits to each initiative, where our team heard the nominees’ stories firsthand. The articles about the longlisted nominees were produced based on the research material compiled by our own Secretariat as they guided the initiatives through the nominations process.
